What you can expect during a typical MTB season:
The season officially kicks off July 1st - you can expect practices to be 2 nights a week with an optional long ride on weekends. Coaches may modify practices due to inclement weather, heat index hazards, or school / testing observances.
Typical Practices:
Weekday Practices: Monday & Wednesday
6:00 - 7:30PM Yellow River Springs Park
We may ride with other teams at local parks - all changes to be announced in advance
Weekend Long Rides: Sundays 10am
Optional - these are meant to grow confidence & endurance.
Coaches to Inform when / where long rides will be.
Pre-Rides for Race Weekends
These are optional and will be held the weekend prior to racing.
Goal is to give riders the chance to preview the course and grow confidence.
Racing Schedule - There are 4 races in the season and then a celebratory MTB Championship weekend! All riders are encouraged to race and to build this confidence!

Parkview MTB will have pre-rides for race weekends to allow riders to gain confidence with the course.
Families are encouraged to stay for the races in the team tent - camping and hotels are available for most courses (more info. to come later in the season)
