Coach Bill has been a MTB coach for 4 years and has loved mountain biking since he was a kid. Coach Bill is excited to build a Parkview cycling community and introduce more kids to the sport. Bill has been a NICA coach back in Pennsylvania before moving to Georgia and becoming a Georgia Cycling Coach as part of North Dekalb Composite.
Coach Bill has three children - two children will be part of Parkview MTB while his youngest will be in the team tent eating snacks.
Coaches set the tone for riders to grow confidence in their skills and to push themselves to achieve their goals. Coaches do not need to be skilled riders, but patient and encouraging voices to the students.
If you're interested in coaching, please reach out! The more coaches we have, the more skills-building and small group rides we can do. Training is provided through Georgia Cycling and you only need a bike, helmet, and the willingness to help others.
Not ready to coach but want to be a team parent? Team Parents are vital to helping practices and racedays run smooth! We will need team parent volunteers for race tent hospitality, course crossings, and our celebration crew to help plan the end of year banquet.
